Always Wanted A "White Easter"

Even though we're geared for spring, the snow did present another lovely view. We had a week of busyness as usual. We did manage to have the Mollnows over for dessert on thursday and hung out with the Browns on friday night. Romay had one heck of a barking cough that is, thankfully, now over. I can hear her singing in her room along with her IPod, thats usually how she rocks herself to sleep :) We leave for Anchorage on thursday afternoon until monday. One little fact, Myra was inducted into the ASAA Hall of Fame for basketball, so we'll be in town for her banquet on sunday! Tomorrow is also THE DAY, when we shall know if the bank will give us THE ANSWER. It looks to be postive, so hopefully we'll be stocking up on the rest of the tools we'll need for this summers project, a 1400 sq. ft. firstday cottage. Adieu!
On our way to church this morning. About a foot fell in just a couple of hours! We had a wonderful service-9:30 am breakfast, singing, Gilbert and Margaret's report on their trip to Russia, Communion and friends!
Lincoln Logs meet Army Men
Dad's scud missles were a concern for Romay's infantry, but she held her own. It was hard for "the reporter" to walk around for pictures.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

God has created us for fellowship. I can not speak for anyone else but myself, and so I will admit that I felt alone at work last year. I was blessed to work with my wife who was and still is a constant comfort to me, but we still felt like a small island in a swirling ocean.
Evidentally it was true for a few others and so we met in Unalakleet during the August inservice. We were a small collection of individual islands who felt the strain of going it alone.
And so, this is our cord of three strands. We are hoping to form a group of Christian Educators... teachers, administrators, district office, cooks, maintenance men, parapros, librarians, parents. Out goes the call to our brothers and sisters- some we do not even know or did not know was part of the family until now.
It is our hope (those who gather here) to use this as a way of staying in contact, binding together, forming a prayer chain, and discovering God's purpose for us in this group.

Let us begin!

Jeff and Jason.......

Still exploring how this blog works. I've got you both in as authors, and all comment moderation going to Jeff. I had to create a blogger ID for myself to set this up..... so we may want to do some testing to see how things work out with these settings???
